We are pleased to announce that Geoffrey Safar has joined our sales and account management team. Born in Paris, Geoffrey has spent his career working in Europe and Asia. He will focus primarily on the French and Belgian markets and other French-speaking regions.
Geoffrey joined Investor Update as a Senior Sales Executive in September 2023, bringing a wealth of diverse experiences in the financial sector across Paris, London, and Hong Kong. During his time at the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), the world’s largest expert network, Geoffrey managed the accounts of large asset managers, activist investors, and hedge funds in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Israel.
Geoffrey started his career at the fintech startup PrivateMarket, where he helped launch a platform to democratise private equity investments. He later joined the cryptocurrency exchange, CryptoSX, where he played a key role in executing Southeast Asia’s first regulated asset-backed security token offering.
Geoffrey graduated with a Master’s in Investment Management from HKUST Business School and earned a double degree from Cass Business School and City University in Economics and Accounting.
